The possibility of freezing rain is now on the minds of National Weather Service forecasters as an “Alberta Clipper” system progresses to our north.
The central low, now north of Minnesota’s arrowhead, will bring a quick 1-3 hour shot of heavy, wet snow before moving towards Quebec, leaving a mix of snow and patchy freezing/glazing drizzle in the Sheboygan area as it does.
Impacts such as slippery road conditions from the ice, along with the half-inch variety of snowfall should be brief, but unfortunately timed for the late afternoon and evening commute.

NWS Graphic
A cold, brisk overnight should lead to a sunny, but breezy Wednesday with temperatures in the low-mid 20s, and wind chill factors wobbling around 10 above zero.
