The artists, food trucks, entertainment, volunteers and other workers needed to pull off one of Sheboygan’s signature summer events are all in place; all that’s needed now is cooperation from the weather for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Midsummer Festival of the Arts scheduled for tomorrow from 10 AM until 5 PM, and Sunday from 10 until 4.
The event, held on the Arts Center grounds and City Green features up to 100 juried artists, including returning award winners from last year. Original works of art include media like ceramics, painting, photography, metal, fiber, watercolor, wood, jewelry and others. There’ll also be live music and performances, exhibitions, hands-on art making, demonstrations and more.
As for that weather – there could be smoke, but for now both days’ forecasts calls for sunshine and temperatures in the upper 80s.
