The first Sheboygan County baby born in 2026 arrived on the second day of the new year at Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan County. “Alice” is the daughter of parents identified only as Anne and Jacob, and arrived at 5:53 PM on Friday, January 2nd, weighing in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces.
Dr. Frank Belmonte, Aurora-Sheboygan senior vice president of Women and children’s service at Advocate Health, of which Aurora Health Care is a part, said that “Every birth is special for our labor and delivery teams,” and, “On New Year’s Day, we feel an extra burst of excitement as we join in welcoming the very first babies of the year.”
