A quick-hitting weather system has departed as quickly as it arrived, prompting the National Weather Service in Milwaukee to drop advisories that had been issued for snow and wind, expiring them at noon today. Forecasters say the end of precipitation and lack of motile snow that otherwise would reduce visibility allowed the expectation of fewer weather-related issues, and advisories were no longer needed.
Another quick-hitting snow event is expected on Tuesday, but at this time the impacts appear limited.
