Marlene M. Krueger, a lifelong Sheboygan Falls resident, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan County. She was 85 years old.
Marlene was born December 24, 1938 in Glenbeulah, the daughter of Clarence and Josephine (Goeser) Klopf. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1957. On October 21, 1961 she was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Ronald Krueger, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. She worked briefly at Bemis Manufacturing, before she and Ron started to raise their family of five children.
Marlene was a member at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where she had volunteered at St. Mary’s School. She enjoyed participating in exercise clubs at the YMCA, bowling, attending car shows with Ron, baking, gardening and shopping. She adored her dog Lucy and taking her for walks. Above all, she loved her family; her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.
Marlene is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ron, and their children: Mark (Theresa) of Sheboygan Falls, Brian (Julie) of Plymouth, Gina (Chris) Gasser of Random Lake, Gary (Robin) of Sheboygan Falls and Matthew (Wendy) of Plymouth; grandchildren: Gracie (Hayden) Duncan, Benji (Kaitlin) Krueger, Amanda and Elizabeth Krueger, Jessica Deckert, Angela and William Gasser, Nathan Krueger, Megan (John) Budworth and Mitchell Krueger; great-grandchildren Maxwell, Josephine, Emma, Julius, Maddilynn and Henry; sisters-in-law Nancy Klopf, Pat (Victor) Siebel and Linda (Jim) Fetterer; brothers-in-law Robert (LaVerne) Krueger, Jeff Krueger and Steve (Paula) Krueger; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother John Klopf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. All are welcome to view a livestream of the service on Marlene’s obituary page at www.wenigfh.com . The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 9:00-11:00AM. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Blessed Trinity.
