The Spring Equinox arrived late Tuesday night, and almost as if on cue, winter snows are creeping back into the forecast.
Many have mused over the debt owed over the mild winter, and payback apparently starts on Thursday night when snow is expected to move in around midnight, reaching a likely peak in the early-to-mid morning hours Friday.
Forecasters are voicing increasing confidence of snow in excess of four inches in Sheboygan County, with most expecting between 7-1/2 and 8 inches to fall before ending late Friday morning.
And although it will get colder behind the storm arctic outbreaks aren’t expected, and highs should return to the 40s after a weekend of scattered snow showers gives way to mostly rain by Monday morning.
