BHP Group warns of $2.5 billion non-cash charge from nickel operations

(Reuters) – BHP Group will record a $2.5 billion non-cash impairment charge in relation to its Western Australia Nickel business as the nickel industry faces challenges and prices remain dampened, the miner said on Thursday.
