Rosemarie Robinson, 89, of Sheboygan passed away on December 4, 2023 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Rosemarie was born on January 6, 1934 to the late Virgil and Vernetta (Ottensman) Gustafson Sr. in Sheboygan, WI. She attended Central High School. Rosemarie was united in marriage to Chester Robinson on May 8, 1954 at Wesley Methodist Church. She was employed at LTC as a teaching assistant from April 1976 to June 1995 when she retired. She was a member of First United Lutheran Church.
Rosemarie is survived by her son, Michael (Mary Jo) Robinson; grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua (Elaine), Jessica (fiancé Dean Berg); great-grandchildren, Tia, Grace, Annabelle, Jack, Cole, Maverick & Ryker. She is further survived by her niece, Lisa (Steve) Splittgerber and family and cousin Diane Sperry.
Preceded in death by her husband, Chester; daughter, Mari Jo; parents, Virgil and Vernetta Gustafson Sr.; brother, Virgil Jr. (Faye) Gustafson; grandparents, Fred and Frieda Ottensman and nephew, Erik Gustafson.
A memorial service will be held for Rosemarie at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel, 7411 Sauk Trail Road, Sheboygan, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her longtime friends and coworkers Joan Free, Kathi McNellis and Sharon Abel for all your love and support. Thank you. Also, a big thank you to her care givers Jody and Lyn and Sharon Richardson Hospice for their care and compassion in her last days.
