William C. “Bill” Klemme, age 92, of Plymouth, passed away at the Waterford in Plymouth on November
28, 2023.
He was born in Johnsonville on September 25, 1931, a son of the late Henry Klemme and Leora (Nohl)
Klemme Hanke. Bill attended Johnsonville grade schools and Plymouth High School.
Following high school, Bill served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
In May 1954, he married Loraine Matzdorf. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1967 after 13 years of
marriage.
On June 27, 1970, he married Sharon Bein.
Bill worked in automotive repair and was part-owner and service manager at Hub City Auto Sales for 30
years. In retirement, he repaired lawn mowers, bicycles, and coaster wagons, and enjoyed mowing the
lawn on his riding mower.
He was a member of Salem U.C.C. in Plymouth, and was also a member of the Ladewig-Zinkgraf
American Legion Post 243 in Plymouth.
Survivors include: His loving wife of 53 years, Sharon; Children: Thomas (Laurie) Klemme, Timothy (Lisa)
Klemme, Tammy (Rob) Martens, Terry (Diane) Klemme, and Todd Klemme (companion, Rebecca);
Grandchildren: Matthew (Emily) Klemme, Jesse Meyer, Joshua Meyer, Gabriel Martens (friend, Maddie),
Lily Martens, Kelly (Adam) Immel, Katie (Kurt) Fogle, Alyssa (Ben) Mrozinsky; Great-grandchildren: Noah
Klemme, Levi Klemme, Henry Mrozinsky, and Layton O’Neil (friend, Haven); Sister-in-law, Darlene
Klemme; Aunt, Sally Nohl; As well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by: His parents; Step Father, Harvey Hanke; Brother, Marvin Klemme, Sister,
Shirley (Leland) Musil, and Matzdorf relatives.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (December 6, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home in
Plymouth. Visitation will take place from 12:30-2:30pm, with a service to follow at 2:30pm. Rev. James
Hoppert will officiate. Military Rites will follow the service at the funeral home and burial will be in
Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bill’s name.

Funeral Home, neighbors, and friends, for the care and compassion given to Bill and their family.
