MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Senator Tammy Baldwin reboots a bill aimed at NFL scheduling.
The Wisconsin Democrat, who’s running for a third six year term, re-introduces her “Go Pack Go Act.”
Currently, residents of 13 mostly northern and western Wisconsin counties are assigned to out-of-state markets in Minnesota and Michigan.
That means viewers in the Duluth-Superior and Minneapolis-St. Paul markets might be stuck with Vikings or Lions games if all three teams are playing at the same time, as they are this weekend.
Baldwin’s bill would require cable, satellite and other providers to give their subscribers access to a Wisconsin market.
