(WHBL) – Drivers under age 60 who received extensions to renew their license because of the pandemic have until Saturday to take action or else pay a late fee.
The DMV did add an online license renewal option so an in-person appearance isn’t required, and most drivers between ages 18 and 64 are eligible to use that option. Online renewals take effect immediately and are viewable by law enforcement.
Those over age 60 have an extra 60 days to renew their license due to increased vulnerability to the virus. The deadline for those to renew without paying a late fee is September 24th.
