Norbert G. “Norb” Fleisner Jr., age 70, of Cascade, WI,
passed away on Wednesday (January 3, 2018) at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice
Center in Sheboygan Falls.
He was born on April 30, 1947 in Plymouth, WI, a son of
the late Norbert Sr. and Leona (Kuhn) Fleisner.
Norb attended Little Elkhart Lake Grade School and
Elkhart Lake High School.
He served active duty in the United States Marines in
1966 – 1968, served in the Reserves for 6 years.
Norb worked for Crystal Gravel Pit and owned a Semi
Trucking Company for many years. He also worked for Rasmussen Dairy Transit and
Strick and Owens retiring in 2012 when they closed the Sheboygan Plant.
He was a member of the Walter P. Gillis Memorial American
Legion Post 484 of Glenbeulah.
Norb enjoyed working on cars and trucks, he was very
proud of his 63 Grand Prix, and he enjoyed doing a lot of wood working. He
loved his baby girl, Jerri, who was always Daddy’s girl and loved seeing his
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving partner: Bejay of Cascade;
Daughter: Jerri Lynn (Bob) Meyer of Cascade; Three Grandchildren: Tiffany Peters
of Plymouth, Todd Skebba of Sheboygan and Stephanie Myers of Cascade; Two
Step-Grandchildren: Shawn (Liz) Meyer of WA and Douglas Meyer of Elkhorn, WI;
Four Great-grandchildren: Izabela Peters, Landon Peters, Alaina Skebba, and
Harper Meyer; Sister: Barb Schadewald of Arizona; and Brothers and
Sisters-in-law: Penny (Jim) Haback of Shawano, Jim (Val) Gillman of Plymouth,
Judy Cory of Algoma, Wendy (Mark) Pitzen of Plymouth, Rick (Chris) Gillman, and
Patty (Pete) Weber of Plymouth.
He is also survived by nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; Son: Lance; Grandson:
Tony; and Brother-in-law: Dale Schadewald.
Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be
held at 12:30 on Tuesday (January 9, 2018) at The Chapel of Eternal Light at
Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan. Chaplain Bob Skjegstad will
officiate.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel of Eternal Light on
Tuesday (Jan. 9) from 12:00 P.M. until the time of services.
Military Rites will be conducted by the Glenbeulah American
Legion Post 484 following the services..
