Richard P. Adema, 58, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 17,
2026, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born on July 25, 1967, in Sheboygan to Richard and Diane (Minnard) Adema. Richard graduated from Sheboygan South High School with the Class of 1986.
Richard was a free spirit; he enjoyed traveling and worked various jobs along the way as he traveled the US. Richard’s heart always brought him back home to Sheboygan, to his beloved family. He always loved to be close to Lake Michigan and sitting in the sun.
Richard loved all animals, especially Maine Coon cats. He named his first cat Garth, the second and all the others to come he named Jimmy. He enjoyed their company greatly.
Richard was a talented woodworker and liked to refinish furniture as a hobby. In his younger years Richard raced BMX bicycles with his brother Rob and could always be found cheering on the Brewers and Vikings and enjoying a grill out and some beers.
Richard is survived by his parents, Richard and Diane Adema, brother Rob (Pam) Adema, special friend Kathy Rosenow and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
