Geraldine A. Wrensch, 87, of Manitowoc, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, August 7,
2019, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Geraldine was born on July 24, 1932, in Sheboygan, to
the late Albert and Elvera (Bollman) Trempe. On October 3, 1953, she married Walter J. Wrensch at
Fountain Park Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1999. Walter and
Geraldine enjoyed spending time at their summer cottage in Door County (Gitche Gumee) with friends
and family. She enjoyed polkas, country music and going to Nashville. She also enjoyed watching the
Packers and Brewers.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Jon) Sargent, Sturgeon Bay and Lisa (Kevin) Christensen,
Manitowoc; 2 grandchildren, Victoria (Jason) Newbauer and Ashley (Cody) Leist; four great
grandchildren; one sister, Shirley (Ronald) Wilke, one niece, Sharon (Jack) Frolich and one nephew, Dale
Wilke.
In addition to her parents and husband, Walter, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Phillip Wilke
and her cat, Sassy Girl.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and
Cremation Care Center (1201 N. 8 th Street, Sheboygan). Visitation will be held on Monday, at the funeral
home, from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Entombment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Please
