Lucille H. Matzdorff, age 89, of Sheboygan Falls, WI, passed away early Monday
afternoon (January 27, 2020) at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice
in Sheboygan Falls.
She was born on May 1, 1930 in the Town of Greenbush, a daughter of the late
August and Leona Rautman Schroeder.
She attended the Spring Valley Grade School and graduated from Glenbeulah
High School in 1948.
On September 13, 1952, she married Willard Matzdorff. After their marriage,
they lived in the Town of Greenbush for 23 years, moving to Plymouth in 1975.
Her husband preceded her in death on December 21, 2016.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and a former member of
New Hope Methodist Church.
Lucille enjoyed playing cards, traveling and camping in Wisconsin with her
children and great grandchildren.
Survivors include: One son: Arthur (Wanda) Matzdorf of St. Germain, WI
Two daughters: Gail Matzdorf of Plymouth
Carol Flanigan of Monroe, LA
Two grandsons: Jerry Matzdorf of Plymouth
Kevin Matzdorf of Menomonee, WI
One great granddaughter: Alison
Four sisters: Marion Case of Green Bay
Dorothy Levsen of the Town of Plymouth
Alice Kimme of the Town of Herman
Betty (Lester) Kracht of the Town of Greenbush
One sister-in-law: Bernice Matzdorf of Sheboygan
Good friends for over 50 years: Norman and Judy Boeldt of Howards Grove
She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by brother-and sister-in-laws: John and George
Matzdorf, Loraine Klemme and Lucile Brandt, Margaret Matzdorf and Anthony
Levson and Eugene Kimme.
Following Lucille’s wishes, there will be NO VISITATION OR VIEWING.
Cremation has taken place and Inurnment will be in the Chapel of Eternal Light at
Greenlawn Cemetery in the Town of Sheboygan,
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salem United Church of Christ Kitchen Fund
or New Hope Methodist Church in Greenbush would be appreciated.
