Thomas Allen Champeau, age 63, of Sheboygan, passed away on August 10, 2022, surrounded by his
family.
He was born in Sheboygan on May 24, 1959, a son of the late Richard and Carol (Gandre) Champeau.
Tom attended Sheboygan grade schools and graduated from South High School in 1978.
He worked at Sheboygan Paint Company for 43 years and enjoyed being the jokester. He also loved
working at the Sheboygan County Fair (Food Stand #2) for over 25 years, and will deeply miss rough-
housing with his grandkids.
Survivors include: Two daughters: Crystal Champeau of Mount Pleasant, WI, and Tracy (Luke)
Kwekkeboom of Sheboygan Falls; Grandchildren: Waylon, Joleen, and Loretta Kwekkeboom; Brothers:
Jim (Cheryl), Mike, Joe, and Mark (Jodi) Champeau, all of Sheboygan; Sister: Cathy (Dan) Taulbenheim of
Oconomowoc; Special friend: Gloria Champeau; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Carol, and brother, Richard Jr.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or service.
The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Bettag, and St. Nicholas Hospice (especially Amy and
Becca) for the wonderful care and compassion given to Tom.
