COLEMAN, WI (WHBL) – The sheriff in Marinette County is blaming Wednesday’s fog for a chain-reaction crash that left one person dead.
Sheriff Jerry Sauve says the wreck happened near Coleman Wednesday morning. The sheriff says cars kept smashing into the back of each other at a railroad crossing on Highway 64. The crashes pushed some vehicles into a moving train. That led the train to jump the tracks.
One person died and several others were hurt. Marinette County and the Highway Patrol are investigating the crash.
