MADISON, WI (WHBL) – College students in Wisconsin are going to have to continue to bring a valid ID with them when they vote. A federal judge in Madison on Thursday upheld Wisconsin’s voter ID law for college students.
The lawsuit wanted to change some of the requirements for what’s considered a valid college ID. But the judge said college student IDs are no different than other forms of ID, and should not be held to a different standard.
