Roger John Firgens, age 79, of Plymouth, passed away at home on November 25, 2021, surrounded by
his loving family.
He was born in Fond du Lac, WI on December 20, 1941, a son of the late Kenneth and Viola (Polzean)
Firgens. Roger attended grade schools in Fond du Lac and graduated from Goodrich High School.
Following high school, Roger served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1966 and achieved the
rank of Sergeant First Class. He also served in the Army Reserves from 1976-1991.
He met the love of his life, Mary Brazier, and they were married at UCC-Church of Peace in Fond du Lac,
WI.
Roger worked as a Foreman at Kohler Company, where he was employed from 1968 until his retirement
in 2001 and was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of Ducks
Unlimited and enjoyed attending the annual banquet, and was a member of Plymouth VFW Post #5612.
Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and socializing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and
friends.
He is survived by: His wife: Mary; Four children: Tim Firgens of Sheboygan, Cheryl (Bob) Thome of St.
Anna, Todd (Rebecca) Firgens of Sheboygan, and Julie (Ed) Konz of Plymouth; 12 Grandchildren; 8 Great-
grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, father and mother-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, and 2
brothers-in-law.
Following Roger’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be NO VISITATION OR SERVICE.
