Vaccines are working, and patient numbers are declining as a result. That according to Advocate Aurora Health Executive Medical Director of Infectious Disease and Prevention Dr. Robert Citronberg.
Numbers released on Tuesday show Wisconsin hospitals with 245 patients, a decline of 1.6% over last week, but month-to-month that’s still an increase of 69%. Numbers in Continuing Health which includes at-home care showed a slight increase over last week of 1.8%, but that’s an increase of 352% compared with a month ago.
Citronberg said that as more people get vaccinated, he expects pandemic numbers to continue to decline, returning life closer to normal.
