No significant change in the two-week trajectory of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County was noted in data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Friday. From August 25 through September 7, Very High activity was registered with a Burden of 391.2 cases per 100,000 persons.
The relatively slow pace of change was evident in a chart from the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health’s COVID-19 Dashboard, which showed active cases comparable to February 2nd of this year, but in a narrow range for the past two weeks.
The County DHS’s dashboard shows 26 more positive cases since Thursday, along with 87 negative test returns and 25 recoveries. 430 cases were active, one more than on Thursday, and 15,042 have now had COVID-19 in Sheboygan County. Hospitalizations were steady at 14.
At least one dose of vaccine has now been administered to 62,374 Sheboygan County residents – 54.1% of the population. 51.3%, or 59,125, are fully vaccinated.
