Three persons suffered serious, to life-threatening injuries while another two are recovering following a crash in the Town of Port Washington on Saturday.
The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office reports that at around 3:15 a car eastbound on Mink Ranch Road failed to stop for a sign at County Highway “KK”, striking an SUV that was northbound at the intersection.
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old woman from Port Washington, was flighted to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life with serious injuries, while her passenger, an 8-year-old female, was taken to Aurora Medical Center in Grafton with minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV, a 62-year-old Port Washington man, and an 89-year-old woman passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital. 64-year-old Port Washington Woman riding in the front of that vehicle suffered serious injuries and was transported to Aurora in Grafton.
The crash remains under investigation.
