
Anthony “Tony” V. Gamez, 67 of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, June
30, 2021. He was born on January 16, 1954, in Texas to Antonio and Amelia
(Villareal) Gamez. He graduated from North High School in Sheboygan. He went
on to serve in the US Marines.
Tony known to some as “the Quarter Man” enjoyed metal detecting, spending
time with his kids at the arcades, and playing the Claw Machines. He had an
incredible sense of humor his laugh and smile would light up a room. Tony was
very talented; he sang lead vocals for several local bands and was well rounded in
music. Tony also loved to make Native American jewelry. Family was very
important to him, he loved spending time with them creating memories.
Spending time with his grandkids around the campfire was a favorite of his. He
enjoyed going to thrift stores and garage sales with his wife.
Tony is survived by his father Antonio Gamez, wife Donna, children; Louicia
Fanslau, Shannon Rhea, Gerame (Marci) Maxwell, Antoinette (Abdiel) Coronado,
Dale Gamez, Alex Gamez, Donna (Nicholas) Roerdink, and Aaron Ferreira,
fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and siblings; Johnny Gamez,
Henry Gamez, Diane Parker and Geraldine Garcia, he is further survived by
special friends; Deanna and Dennis Piasecki, and their son Gene Lohse, and many
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his
mother and great-grandson.
