(WHBL) – Although it will take until September to finish the entire project, navigating the Geele Avenue construction gets a little easier today as the intersections with North 8th and North 15th Streets will open to cross traffic.
Geele Avenue itself will remain closed to through traffic as crews repair sanitary and storm sewers, improve the concrete sidewalks and resurface the street with asphalt pavement.
Residents and businesses will still have access using the cross streets between North 3rd and North 15th Streets except when work is underway in the immediate area.
