(WHBL) – The man who intentionally ruined hundreds of doses of the coronavirus vaccine late last year will do time behind bars. A federal judge on Tuesday sentenced 46-year-old Steven Brandenburg to three years in prison.
Brandenburg pleaded guilty back in January to attempting to tamper with a consumer product charges. He told Grafton Police that he intentionally left 500 doses of the Moderna vaccine out to spoil last December while working as a pharmacist at Aurora Medical Center at the time.
Brandenburg said he tried to ruin the vaccine doses because he believed they would alter people’s DNA.
