SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Bystanders can be credited with saving a person trapped inside a trailer that caught fire in the Indian Meadows trailer park Sunday night.
The Sheboygan Fire Department was called to the home on Cheyenne Trail around 9:15 – on their way, they were told that one person was pulled form the trailer by bystanders and needed medical attention. When crews arrived, the trailer was fully engulfed. Fire crews quickly knocked down the fire – the occupant was rushed to Memorial Hospital before being sent to St. Mary’s Burn Center in Milwaukee.
The home appears to be a total loss – the cause is under investigation.
