(WHBL) – It’s the latest sign that Aaron Rodgers’ days in green and gold may be over. Former Packers’ quarterback Brett Favre said in a radio interview on Wednesday that he doesn’t think Rodgers will play in Green Bay again.
Favre says Rodgers’ beef is with the front office, and not the team or the fans. But Favre says if Rodgers has a grudge, he doesn’t expect him to change his mind about returning to the team next season.
Meanwhile, ESPN Packers Beat Writer Rob Demovsky, who’s covered the team for decades, told The Dan Patrick Show this week that June 1st could be when Rodgers is either traded or separated from the club through other means.
“If they didn’t trade him before the first round of the Draft when they would get immediate capital, it would be salary cap suicide to do it before June 1,” Demovsky said.
He added that he believes there’s about a 5% chance that Rodgers is the Packers’ quarterback this season.
