Shoreline Metro
Shoreline Metro has introduced Bus & Beyond Community Day –it’s a new monthly initiative by Shoreline Metro designed to help connect residents with essential community services, employment opportunities, shopping, clinics, and other important destinations.
Free fixed‑route rides are provided on the third Wednesday of each month, giving individuals no‑cost access to transportation. Individuals may ride any route at any time on this day to any destination.
Bus & Beyond Community Day is designed to be a feel‑good, community‑focused program that expands access, strengthens partnerships, and promotes the value of public transit. The program supports community integration, encourages new riders to try transit, and helps remove transportation barriers for those needing to reach services.
The first Bus & Beyond Community Day will be Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
