Roger Reineking, 68, of Waldo, WI, passed away peacefully Friday, September 25, 2026 at Sharon S. Richardson after a long fight with cancer.
Roger was born November 22, 1957. Roger graduated from South High School in 1976. Roger and Diane were married on July 4, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV.
Roger was employed with Georgia Pacific for 25 years and retired in June of 2022. After his retirement he spent time at home and became a member of the Waldo Mill Pond where he helped with the upkeep of the Pond. Roger was also a member of Generations in Plymouth where he enjoyed playing pickleball, cornhole and mini golf. Roger was an avid Budweiser collector. Roger also enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Nascar, going to garage sales and flea markets and doing puzzles. He enjoyed watching his grandkids’ sporting events, along with spending time with family and friends.
Roger is survived by his wife, Diane; two children, Peter (Vicky) Meyer of Arkansas and Michelle (James) Coldren of Daggett, MI; eight grandchildren, James (Katie Keserich) Coldren Jr. of Florida, Spencer Coldren of North Dakota, Bentley Coldren of Daggett, MI, Brianna Coldren of Sheboygan, Triston and Trinity Meyer of Arkansas, Troy Pruitt of Arkansas, and Zoya Miller of Arkansas, four great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Sue) Reineking; sister Carol (Bill) Stephen; nephews, Ben (Lisa) and Ian; niece, Andrea (Matt) Platten; mother-in-law, Alice Heimerman; brothers-in-law, Eugene (Diana) Heimerman of Florida, and Jon (Renee) Heimerman; Debbie (Charles Karstedt) Hiles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Lucille Reineking, father-in-law, Ervin Heimerman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A big thank you to all the team members who took care of Roger these past few months from Sheboygan Memorial, St. Luke’s Medical Center and Sharon Richarson Hospice. Your support and overwhelming kindness during this time has been greatly appreciated.
