Richard “Ric” Kuklinski, age 78, passed away on September 27, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born on April 30, 1948, in Port Washington, Wisconsin.
Ric proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a long career with Kohler Co., working in the Faucets division from September 1979 until his retirement in 2009. During his 30 years with Kohler, Ric was inducted into the company’s Quarter Century Club, recognizing his many years of service.
Family was an important part of Ric’s life. He is survived by his wife, Janine (Hardwick) Kuklinski; his children, Dale (Suzy) Kuklinski, Jason (Jodie) Kuklinski, Christy (Todd) Jensema, Jess (Matt) Newton, and Shelly Kuklinski (special friend Jeremy).
He was a proud grandfather to Christopher and Thomas Kuklinski, Parker and Cole Oshefsky, Aldora and Lucas Jensema, Jadi Ashley, Mackenzie (Cyle) Rebedew, and Grey Newton; and a great-grandfather to Colton Oshefsky and Chloe Rebedew.
Ric is further survived by his brothers, Stan (Nanc) Kuklinski and Roger Kuklinski; sisters, Sharon (Donnie) Boehlke and Debbie (Richard) Klug; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Ric enjoyed the simple things in life and the time spent with the people he loved. He enjoyed being outdoors and surrounded by nature, planting apple trees, and eating fresh farm eggs. He could often be found cheering on the Green Bay Packers or the Indiana Fever. He also enjoyed playing poker, cribbage, sheepshead, fantasy football/soccer, and spending time with his beloved dog, Pepper.
Ric will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His family will remember his stories, the laughter, the card games, the time spent together, and all of the little things that made Ric who he was.
We are forever grateful for the lessons he taught us, the wisdom he shared, his kindness, and the positivity he brought to our lives. These are the things we will carry with us and pass on in his memory.
His memory will live on through the family he loved and the many memories they shared together.
A Celebration of Life for Ric will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.at The Village at 170, 170 Rangeline Road, Kohler, Wisconsin.
In honor of Ric’s service in the United States Army, military honors, including a rifle volley, will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Flowers may be delivered to The Village at 170 on Saturday, October 3, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
