Residents of care facilities in Sheboygan will have the opportunity to vote where they live as absentee voting will be administered by special voting deputies from the City of Sheboygan. Any qualified elector who can’t, or isn’t willing to vote at their designated polling place on election day may request to vote an absentee ballot as long as they’ll be at least 18 years old by election day, have lived in the ward or municipality where they wish to vote for at least 28 days before the election, and are registered to vote.
Voting will be observed by members of both the Democrat and Republican parties, and family members of nursing home residents may be present when votes are casts.
