Timothy J. Helbach, age 67 of Sheboygan formerly of Stevens Point passed away Tuesday October 27, 2026. Tim was born April 18, 1959, in Stevens Point to the late Walter and Theresa (Turzinski) Helbach. He attended Stevens Point schools and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1978. Tim proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by Spectrum as a Senior Director of Engineering for the past thirty-three years.
Tim is survived by his children Danielle (Matthew) Simmons of Houston, Christina (Andrew) Michaels of Sheboygan, John Helbach of Brisbane, Australia grandson Walter Michaels, siblings Conrad (Susan) Helbach of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Paul (Anita) Helbach of Brule, WI, David (Jennifer) Helbach of Denver, CO, Jeffrey (Shirley) Helbach of Denver, CO, and Bonnie Helbach of Stevens Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barbara, and a son Jon Luis.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Rachel for the compassionate care and support she provided to Tim throughout his medical challenges.
Tim had a love of travel. He was stationed in Spain and Turkey. He was always up for a road trip.
A celebration of life will be held May 22nd, 2027, at Iverson Park, Steven’s Point, WI. Please reach out to the kids for attendance or more info.
