It’s time to check your medicine cabinet for unneeded medication. The next Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will take place next week Saturday, October 24th across the nation, and that includes three Sheboygan County locations. The collections here are coordinated through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the US Drug Enforcement Administration with the goal of removing potentially dangerous drugs from streets, and for proper disposal of unneeded or expired medication that keeps them from contaminating the environment.
Collections take place from 10 AM until 2 PM Saturday the 24th at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, and from 10 ‘till 1 at both Generations in Plymouth and the Random Lake Fire Department.
