(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) September 30, 2026 – The 2026 season drew to a conclusion for Randy Post and the members of his Randy Post Racing Team with the Akright Auto Plymouth Dirt Track Racing 360 Sprint Cars during the ninth annual Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis. on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Post’s sixth appearance of the 2026 campaign saw the Oostburg, Wis. driver clock in 18th overall in PDTR 360 Sprint Car group qualifying with a lap of 12.855 seconds.
After finishing sixth in the third heat race, Post started third in the 12-lap B main. He maintained the third spot through lap 6 before a restart shuffled him back to sixth, which is where he finished to earn the final A-main transfer position.
Post fired off from the 20th starting spot in the 25-lap PDTR 360 Sprint Car A main and held steady throughout to post a 20th-place finish
“The car felt awesome for qualifying, the heat race, and B main,” Post said. “I couldn’t get the thing to turn in the feature. It was so bad I should have pulled off after the first caution. But being the last race, and the little bit we did race this year, I really wanted a full night.”
After competing in three events in 2025, Post enjoyed the opportunity to get back on the track twice as many times during the 2026 season.
“I really feel like we made a lot of progress this season,” Post said. “The driver finally found the gas pedal. There were long nights with B mains and transferring out of them and having to run all those laps. I found out how out of shape I am really quick. I am really impressed with how the season went. I can’t do it without the crew: Dad, Max, Heidi, Skyelar, Nicole, and the sponsors Luedtke Electric, Oostburg Automotive, Gundrum Trucking, Harbor Lights, PMI, and Behling’s.”
