The Sheboygan County Warming Center has gotten some much-needed support from Wisconsin’s favorite NFL Team. The Green Bay Packers Foundation announced that it has awarded $1.6 million in annual grants to 402 civic and charitable groups throughout the State of Wisconsin.
Among those is the Sheboygan County Warming Center, which said that the support “…will help create pathways to stability by meeting people where they are – with shelter, food, dignity, connection, and support. Thank you, Packers Outreach, for investing in our community!”
Packers Chief Executive Officer, Ed Policy, said that “it is a privilege for the Packers to be in a position to support the critical work these organizations do in our communities and throughout the state. We are proud to support their causes and shine a light on them.”
