Construction is underway on the biggest investment in Sargento Foods’ history. The Plymouth-based company is building a 384-thousand-square-foot manufacturing plant
on 66 acres along Highway 57 and County Road PP.
According to Cheese Market News, manufacturing now done at Sargento’s existing Plymouth campus will eventually move to the new facility. The plant will include production, warehouse and cooler space, with phased occupancy expected to begin in 2027. No immediate new jobs are anticipated.
