Cheese, brats, the beach- Wisconsin is just a fun place to live…and the folks at WalletHub agree. Wisconsin has been named the 16th most fun state to visit in the US. What’s more, Wisconsin was named the third best place state to live in.
Wisconsin earned the honor thanks to its affordable housing market, where it ranked 9th in housing affordability –helping to make homeownership more attainable for residents.
The Badger State ranked sixth for the quality of its school systems, thanks in part to having the nation’s best high school graduation rate at over 96%. Good-quality education has helped the state’s residents find employment, contributing to the seventh-lowest unemployment rate in the country.
Finally, Wisconsin was recognized as offering a safe environment for residents, with the sixth-lowest property crime rate in the country and the 18th-lowest traffic fatality rate in the country.
