A multi-agency effort led by the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit has resulted in the arrests of four City of Manitowoc residents along with the seizure of multiple firearms, ammunition, and nearly five pounds of cocaine.
The arrests on Wednesday were the culmination of a joint investigation by multiple agencies, and followed sales conducted between the suspects and law enforcement over the past three months. Also involved in the investigation and arrests were the Sheboygan and Manitowoc County SWAT Teams, the DEA, US Marshals Service, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, US Postal Inspection Service, the Manitowoc and Two Rivers Police Departments along with the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The four persons arrested were identified as Norval J. Almeyda-Sanchez, Jorge Plana-Cotto, Jael Cruz-Arroyo, and Rosario Pena, all of Manitowoc. They were jailed on charges of conspiracy to deliver over 40 grams cocaine.
