With work progressing under nearly ideal weather conditions on the I-43 project in Sheboygan County, traffic impacts this week will be mostly confined to overnight hours when crews work on ramps, while daytime crews continue the resurfacing along with rehabbing structures on the 10-mile stretch between Wilson Lima Road and Highway 42.
The southbound off-ramp, and the northbound on-ramp at Highway 28 will be closed nightly between 8 PM and 6 AM Wednesday through Friday, while at Highway 23 both the northbound and southbound on and off-ramps will be closed Sunday through Friday nights from 8 PM to 6 AM.
Southbound lane closures between 42 and 28 will take place Sundays from 7 PM to 6 AM Monday morning, and Monday through Friday 6 PM to 6 AM.
Northbound lane closures will take place Sunday through Thursday 6 PM to 6 AM, and Fridays from 7 PM to 9 AM Saturday.
Drivers should also be aware of overnight surface marking operations on eastbound Highway 23 between Taylor Drive and Highway Y where various lane restrictions are in place.
