Volunteers are being sought for STEAMfest, an interactive, hands-on event that connects 4th and 5th grade students with real-world applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, or “STEAM”. More than 1,500 4th and 5th grade students will come together to experience engaging demonstrations in STEAM-related fields.
The Sheboygan Chamber of Commerce is recruiting businesses to assist with the program by hosting tables for the students to visit. Organizers are looking for tables that would offer activities where students can explore, build, test, or play with, that showcase how STEAM is used by the business.
STEAMfest takes place October 13th from 9 until 1:45. More information can be found online at Sheboygan.org
