Work to rehab I-43 in Sheboygan County will continue impeding traffic this week, but the worst effects will be in the nighttime hours.
Nightly lane closures are scheduled between 6 PM and 6 AM Mondays through Fridays, and also from 7 PM Sundays until 6 AM Mondays, and both the north and southbound I-43 and Highway 23 interchange ramps will close Sunday through Friday nights from 8 PM to 6 AM.
Beginning on Monday next week work on the Highway PP overpass between Sheboygan and Kohler will require temporary traffic signals at each end of the bridge as expansion joint replacement operations will reduce traffic to one lane only. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained.
Also, the Highway 28 resurfacing project is moving along with the only detour for now routing traffic on Highway U between Highway 57 and County N.
