The City of Sheboygan held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday for the new Riverview District project being built by Milwaukee-based developer HKS Holdings LLC.
The luxury apartments will be located on the former Mayline property, along the Sheboygan River, north of Pennsylvania Avenue. City staff, developers, and others gathered for the ceremony.
The $68.9 million project, which is expected to take about 2 years to complete, will consist of 283 market-rate apartment units across two, five-story buildings.
