Virginia “Ginny” B. Kimme, age 67, of rural Howards Grove passed away peacefully on Friday, July, 10 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, after a battle with cancer.
Born July 23, 1958 to the late Eugene and Alice Kimme in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Virginia attended Howards Grove schools and graduated with the class of 1978, from the Wisconsin school for the blind and visually impaired in Janesville.
Her working career was 35 years at Wigwam in Sheboygan. Virginia was a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic. She made many life long friends, Marge, Nancy, Sue, Dave, Kieth and Mary she always enjoyed their visits and going out for lunch. She has many other countless other friends like Dennis, DuWayne, Luella, Daniel and Tom. Virginia spent a lot of her time helping at her brothers dairy farm and that is where her love of animals came from.
Virginia is survived by her sister Laura Benzschawel of rural Sheboygan Falls; brothers, Floyd (Johanna) Kimme of Plymouth and Ronald Kimme of rural Howards Grove; nephews, Justin (Amber) and Clayton (Kelly), all of New Holstein and a great-niece and nephew, Harper and Cavin Kimme.
Along with her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother-In-Law, Roger Benzschawel Sr.
Virginia will be missed, forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. When you hear Go Rest High on that Mountain by Vince Gill, the angels welcomed her home.

A time of gathering for Virginia will take place on Thursday, July 23 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road in Howards Grove. Virginia will be laid to rest at Siemers Union Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the excellent care given to Virginia, especially Chaplain Joe Zenk, Natasha and Ann.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Virginia’s name be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
