A Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputy required hospital treatment for minor injuries after his squad car was struck by another vehicle around 4:30 on Wednesday afternoon.
The 27-year-old deputy was on patrol traveling west on Highway V near 5 Corners when another vehicle that had stopped on Highway I continued northward into the intersection, striking the patrol squad. The 17-year-old Waldo man driving the other vehicle wasn’t injured, however the deputy was treated at a local hospital and released.
The accident is now being investigated by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
