Denis B. Fetterer, age 78, of Sheboygan, died on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Sheboygan Progressive Health Services. He was born in Sheboygan on May 13, 1948, the son of the late Jerome and Elizabeth Hargan Fetterer.
Denis attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. After high school he enlisted in U.S. Army and proudly served his country from 1966 until his honorable discharge in 1970. On August 30, 1969, he was united in marriage to Beverly J. Selke in Sheboygan.
Denis was first employed at Schreier Malting Company in Sheboygan. He then started his own business, “Al’s Heating Sales” for 10 years. Following the sale of his business, he went to work for the Sheboygan Housing Authority until his retirement.
He enjoyed golfing and traveling to Texas in the winter. During the summer months Denis and Beverly were camp hosts at Columbia Park in Fond du Lac. Denis was a Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan as well. He also loved socializing with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly, of Sheboygan; two sons, Jerry (Sara) Fetterer, of Howards Grove, and Patrick (Nicole) Fetterer, of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren, Bailey, Alexandra, Ian, Zoe, Peyton, Josie, and Sawyer; one great-grandson, Colton; his three brothers, Dale (Chris) Fetterer, David Fetterer, Mark (Mary) Fetterer, all of Sheboygan; and his two sisters, Jane Fetterer and Jeanine Hemb, both of Sheboygan. Many other relatives and friends survive. Denis was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Susan Lohr, and his brother, Kevin Fetterer.
A celebration of life for Denis will take place at a later date.
