Sharon L. Struve, 83, of Plymouth, passed away on July 1, 2026, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 4, 1942 to the late Leo and Francis Gahagan. On February 18, 1961, Sharon was united in marriage to the late Roland Struve and raised 5 children. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and employed for many years at Kenro Company, Fredonia until her retirement.
Her hobbies included the love of reading, classic country music, Green Bay Packers and her cats.
Sharon in survived by her son, Jim (Juls) Struve, daughters, Julie Arnst (special friend Jim) and Dawn (Dave) Hundt. Six grandchildren, Dylan (Emily), Trent (special friend Savannah), Sheena (Adam), Sadie (John), Macie, and Mitchell. Nine great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Daniel Struve and daughter, Tess Struve. Also her beloved sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia (Daniel) Gross, Audrey (Harold) Stone, Bev (Lanny) Schirmer and Marilyn McKinster.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 9th, 2026 at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 4:00pm-5:00pm; with a Memorial Service to follow on 5:00pm. Inurnment will be at Greenbush Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for Pine Haven Christian Communities or Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Pine Haven Christian Home on Giddings for their kindness and compassionate care where she had been a resident for the past 10 months. They would also like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for keeping her comfortable in her last days.
