Vincent T. Shircel, 72, of Howards Grove, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 5, 1954, in Sheboygan, to the late Frank and Hazel (Dunn) Shircel. Vince grew up in Sheboygan and attended Wilson Elementary, Farnsworth Middle School, and South High School.
On August 25, 1973, he married Kathleen Lenz at Immaculate Conception Church, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with a love that lasted more than 50 years.
He was a longtime and active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove, where his faith and church family were important parts of his life.
Vince dedicated many years of his career to Kohler Co., where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee. He took great pride in his work and the many years he devoted to the company before enjoying a well-earned retirement.
Vince enjoyed traveling, and he and Kathy shared countless adventures together. They made lifelong memories camping with friends, vacationing in Mexico, spending weekends in Door County, and taking many family vacations throughout the years.
He loved golf and spent much of his retirement on the course with friends. Vince found his greatest happiness in being with the people he loved and treasured the lifelong friendships he built over the years. He truly lived life by seizing the day and was always up bright and early, ready to tackle a project, care for his beautifully manicured yard, or make sure his car was always spotless.
Above all else, Vince’s greatest joy was his family. His grandchildren were truly the light of his life, and he cherished every opportunity to cheer them on at their sporting events and school activities. Nana and Papa’s house was a place filled with love, laughter, and countless special memories that his grandchildren will carry with them forever.
He will be remembered as a kind, selfless, and dependable man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He never took life’s simple joys for granted.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Shircel; daughter, Shannon (John) Beauvais; and grandchildren, Liam, Piper, and Keenan Beauvais; brother, Jean (Sue) Shircel; sisters, Blanche Paul and Colleen Smith; brothers-in-law, Larry (Sandy) Lenz and Scott (Lori) Lenz; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Buck) Luedtke, Pam (Surf) Resendes, and Kris (John) Wolf; along with many special nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, W2776 WI-32, Howards Grove, WI 53083. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Noah Fremer officiating. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Howards Grove.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan, Dr. Malicky and his wonderful nurses at Aurora Grafton, the dedicated staff at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center, and Sharon Richardson Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Vince and for the kindness, comfort, and support they showed our entire family.
