Fire destroyed a home Near Parnell Tower in the Town of Mitchell on Tuesday afternoon. The Cascade Fire Department was assisted by over a dozen others as far away as Cedar Grove and the Town of Wilson when the call came in at 4:37 PM on Tuesday, reporting a house fire in the N4400 block of Shamrock Road in the Town of Mitchell. That location is about a mile west of Parnell Tower in the Kettle Moraine.
The homeowner reported the fire began in the garage and spread to the home. By the time deputies arrived the fire had engulfed the entire structure.
There were no reports of injuries; The Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Unit was called to look into the origins of the blaze.
