Drivers are being advised that they might encounter dense fog when navigating roads in Sheboygan County today.
Conditions varied early this morning with fog significantly impacting visibility right along the Sheboygan streets adjacent to Lake Michigan, while the airport reported 2-1/2 miles visibility at 4 AM.
The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory to be in effect until noon today for low visibility that could make driving conditions hazardous. Although cities and villages along the immediate lakeshore are most likely to be impaired, the advisory also covers Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth and Howards Grove.
