A Sheboygan police officer is being recognized for his work on a recent sexual assault investigation. Officer Dylan Hill has received the Community Impact Award from the Sheboygan County Coordinated Community Response Team.
Police officials say Hill demonstrated exceptional professionalism, empathy and dedication while handling the case, ensuring the victim was treated with dignity, compassion and respect throughout the investigation.
The department says Hill balanced thorough investigative work with a victim-centered approach, helping build trust while pursuing the case. Officials say his efforts exemplify the qualities needed to support victims and strengthen the community’s response to crime.
A second officer, Patrol Officer Anthony Hamilton, was also honored. Hamilton was noted for his exceptional dedication and professionalism while investigating a high-risk domestic violence case. He was credited for his attention to detail and commitment to ensure the victims safety, making sure that every aspect of the investigation was carefully documented and addressed.
